As a first-generation immigrant, Lawrence’s road to business success was paved with the same persistence and dedication she and her family demonstrated during their journey to become American citizens. Lawrence, a staunch advocate for Latina and women’s rights, helps to build bridges of opportunity for minorities within a country she prides with being founded on the aspirations and ideology of inclusiveness and acceptance.

“In America, we live as one people, on one body of land that we share collectively, learn to build bridges on when our views differ, and pull together, when needed, to ensure that our country exemplifies unity and liberty for everyone,” said Lawrence.

Earning a seat at the table for women and Latina business owners is a mission Lawrence has championed since becoming the sole owner of Delta Personnel in 2000. Transforming the company, which opened its doors in 1968, into a multi-million-dollar staffing solutions agency with more than 900 employees is only one of the many accomplishments she has achieved. Next year, the company will celebrate 50 years in business - a milestone she will honor with a new and reinvigorated mission to expand Delta Personnel nationwide.

Kelvin is originally from St. Petersburg, FL. and moved to New Orleans after living in Atlanta Georgia for 18 years. While living in Atlanta, he owned several successful business ventures over the years. He also worked at IBM in Atlanta, Georgia for over 8 years in numerous management and leadership positions. Kelvin moved to New Orleans to work with the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program at Delgado Community College. He was one of the first employees hired to help start the program in New Orleans. Prior to leaving the Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Program he was the Business Services Support Director and Alumni Manager. Kelvin was very instrumental in the overall success of the program and managed the Alumni phase where he spearheaded over 450 small business owners with graduating from the 10ksb Program. He has also been recognized on a national level for his overall leadership that he brings to any organization.

Kelvin joined Delta Personnel, Inc. in August of 2015 as the Executive Vice President. Since coming on board with Delta Personnel, Kelvin has been successful in generating new business for Delta Personnel and also realigning Delta Personnel to be one of the leading staffing firms in the Gulf South Region. With Kelvin’s leadership Delta Personnel is positioning itself to be force on a national level when it comes to the staffing industry.

Kelvin is the father of beautiful girls. He holds degrees from both St. Petersburg College and Southern University.
