Daphne Large, founding CEO of Data Facts, got her start in the Consumer Reporting Industry at the young age of 16 at Equifax Services. She recognized a competitive advantage and started Data Facts in 1989 at the age of 27. Data Facts is celebrating its 31st year in business.
Daphne attended the University of Memphis, Equifax Developmental School, Leadership Germantown, the New Memphis Leadership Development Intensive and other Management studies. She was inducted into the Society of Entrepreneurs in 2014 and is a frequent contributor to Entrepreneurial and Leadership programming. She has been named CEO of the Year by the MBJ, Super Woman in Business by MBJ, Top Women Owned Business many times, and Data Facts has been named a Top Workplace by the Commercial Appeal 6 times from 2013 - 2019. Data Facts was founded on the philosophy that if we take great care of our people, they will take great care of our customers who in turn will take great care of Data Facts. They do and it works.
Large currently serves the Memphis community in many capacities. She has served as the past-Chair of the Chairmen's Circle of the Greater Memphis Chamber, serves on the Board of Directors for the Greater Memphis Chamber and the Executive Committee, serves on the Board of Directors for the Society of Entrepreneurs, is a past Board Chair of New Memphis, served on the University of Memphis LEAD Board, served as the Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Make A Wish Mid-South, served 7 years on the Board of Trustees for St. George's Independent School and as Vice Chair and Secretary, served on the Youth Villages West Tennessee Board and has held other Board and Executive Committee positions.
Daphne is passionate about giving back and believes to whom much has been given, much is expected. She practices and inspires others to give all you can, as often as you can to as many as you can. She is an ardent William Churchill admirer and believes in his words of “We make a living by what we get; but, we make a life by what we give".

Working for Data Facts since 1996, What Johnna enjoys most about Data Facts is our dedication and determination to provide the best possible information to our clients. She wants to be a resource and partner that client's can count on. She understands the importance of having each and every client and our service from sales and operations, reflect it. Johnna has over 19 years experience in the industry. She listens carefully to understand our clients' needs and preferences. she likes to give our clients' prompt service, and doesnt make them wait. Johnna generally lives by the rule: treat others as you would like to be treated. And she loves what she does and that comes across with her interactions with people.
Johnna has a degree is Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration of Human Resource Management. She had worked in the Staffing Industry prior to joining Data Facts. Being in the Staffing Industry she would use Background Screening firms to screen our applicants. She was on the client side of this business and now she is providing that service to clients. She has also obtained these certifications: Advanced NAPBS/FCRA Certified, Basic NCRA/FCRA Certified
Lisa P. May
Executive Vice President
Lisa P. May, Senior Vice President, started with Data Facts in 1998. She is a graduate of the University of Memphis, where she earned a Bachelors of Business Administration and majored in Marketing. Her tenure with the company as allowed her to take ownership of many different roles. After being the Background Screening Division Sales Manager she moved into the role of VP of Marketing to fully develop and build a strong marketing department as the company had grown into a national company, with customers all over the country. She moved into the role of Senior Vice President - Strategic Solutions of Data Facts.
She won the Sales Person of the Year or Eagle Award in 2003, 2009, 2010 and 2021, and the Diamond Award (Employee of the Year) in 2010. A leader in the community she has served on the SHRM Memphis Board in 2010 and 2011 and completed the New Memphis Institute’s Leadership Development Intensive course in 2014. She is also involved with The Memphis Chamber of Commerce and as well as many charities like the Memphis Humane Society, SRVS and St. Jude.
