Tennessee Associated Electric is a full-service electrical contractor providing innovative solutions to a wide variety of electrical projects and building needs since 1929. We also offer electrical apparatus repair and multiple product distribution; including ABB, Baldor, TECO, Danfoss and many more. Our facility offers 39,000 sq. ft. of modern equipment and technologies to help with your electrical needs. We have a servo repair center offering complete servo repair, rewind and testing. We are committed to total customer satisfaction with top quality electrical maintenance, emergency services, new construction, electrical testing, high voltage, line work, and communications.

We are a contractor that can provide an adequate number of highly skilled craftsmen, who can respond to customer needs in a timely manner, and have the resources and expertise to handle any emergency or project large or small.

We approach safety from many different levels. We provide ongoing training for all our foremen for changes in OSHA requirements, new technology, and reviews of safety issues from job sites. Our Workmen's Compensation carrier works with us to provide job site inspections. These inspections are key to assisting our field representatives in achieving our safety goals. Finally, we hold weekly job site toolbox safety meetings.

We have been selected "Environmental Safety & Health Subcontractor of the Quarter" numerous times at the Oak Ridge DOE plants. We have a safety committee made up of field people and management that meet monthly to discuss safety issues and all our employees have had the 10 hour OSHA training course.
