Jill Savard opened Savard Labor and Marine in 1998 as a woman-owned business serving male-dominated industries. Overcoming numerous obstacles, Savard has become a multi-million dollar company and continues to exceed her expectations every day. Savard team members have earned and deserve her highest level of pride and respect. She is most proud of the company's exemplary safety record and for earning the unique distinction of being self-insured.
Savard is a certified member of the Women's Business Enterprise National Council, Associated General Contractors, Associated Builders and Contractors, the Safety Council of Southwest Louisiana, Gulf Coast Safety Council and the Alliance Safety Council. She is a native of Baton Rouge where she attended Louisiana State University, and current resident of Lafayette where she attends the University of Louisiana at Lafayette pursuing a double major in economics and French.
