Misty Mayes founded Management Solutions, LLC (MSLLC) in 2002. Along with being a successful entrepreneur and project management professional, Misty is a true servant leader who lives her life and runs her company with a firm belief that “to whom much is given, much is expected.” It’s a principle that’s ingrained in the culture of her company and one she puts into action every day.

Misty took a real leap of faith to form Management Solutions. Misty left a soaring career as vice president of Programs/Project Controls for Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) to start Management Solutions. She wanted to build a company that showed compassion to its employees, customers and to the greater community; and would strive for nothing less than excellence in everything it did. In her continuous effort to do this, she has received many significant awards, including:

Dr. Nkem Okeke is the Executive Vice President of Healthcare Solutions for Management Solutions. Nkem has extensive experience in the healthcare industry as a physician and in healthcare system operations, management consulting, program management and business development. Before joining MSLLC, Nkem served at Johns Hopkins Healthcare as Director of Special Projects for a $1.5 billion-plus revenue department, overseeing key population health initiatives. Nkem continues serving John Hopkins Healthcare in an advisory/consultancy role. She also worked for Booz Allen Hamilton as a healthcare consultant and healthcare customer lead, where her work over a period of 18 months resulted in multi-million dollars in new and potential business across federal healthcare agencies. While there, she led multiple projects for the Veterans Administration, the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services and others. Prior to that, Nkem was with Kaiser Permanente, where she oversaw telemedicine services operations, and capital and quality improvement projects.

In addition to having her medical degree, Nkem has a Master of Business Administration and Master of Project Management from George Washington University and a Master of Public Health from Tulane University. She is certified in clinical data analytics, Lean Six-Sigma and as a Project Management Professional.

Sam is a proven leader with more than 25 years of extensive experience managing construction and design projects ranging from civil/environmental design efforts to Superfund initiatives.

 Sam’s depth of experience includes developing integrated project management systems, assisting companies in attaining Earned Value Management System (EVMS) Certification, assessing and automating management information systems, project management services and managing a wide array of personnel ranging from various design disciplines to construction management personnel. He collaborates with clients to identify needs, establish contract scope and assign the best resources that MSLLC can provide for Best Value Services. Sam joined Management Solutions in 2003.
