Faye B. Anderson

Faye B. Anderson is the President and Owner of Manufacturers Packaging Services. Faye has a B.S. in Physical Education from Middle Tennessee State University and an M.S. in Physical Education from the University of Tennessee.


During the 70’s and 80’s, Faye was very active in a number of political pursuits. From 1984 to 1988, Faye served as an elected city official on the Hoover City Council. During her tenure on council, she spearheaded the formation of the Hoover City Park Board and the Hoover City School System. She was the Liaison for the Park Board.


As a member of the Hoover Zoning Board and the Zoning Board of Adjustment, she voted to annex Greystone, Spain Park, and Shoal Creek and she also helped approve the development of the Riverchase Galleria and Hoover Metropolitan Stadium.


In 1985, she was awarded the Hoover Chamber of Commerce Volunteer of the Year award and also received a Governors Volunteer Certificate from the State of Alabama and a National volunteer service recognition certificate from President Ronald Reagan. Faye founded the Hoover Belles Organization in 1979 and ran it until 1986.

 

During this time, she also participated in and held a variety of offices in a number of different civic organizations including Daughters of the American Revolution, Starlake Garden Club, Hoover Service Club, and the Ballet Women’s Committee where she served two terms as President. In 1988, she co-founded Manufacturers Packaging Services with her husband, John.


She is a member of St. Mark United Methodist Church in Vestavia, Alabama Women in Business, and the Bessemer Chamber of Commerce.

Beth A. Morrissette

Beth A. Morrissette is Chief Executive Officer of Manufacturers Packaging Services. Beth is a graduate of the University of Alabama with a B.S. in Marketing. 

 

Beth's professional experience includes more than 27 years of sales, marketing, and management in the healthcare and industrial packaging industries. 

 

Working along with Faye, Beth is responsible for all aspects of the business operations. 


A lifelong community volunteer, Beth has been active as an officer and board member for a number of community and civic organizations, including Compass Bank, the Junior League of Mobile, serving as President and Board Chair in 2007-08, and the United Way of Southwest Alabama, serving as Campaign Chair for the 2011 Community Campaign.

 

Beth served as a member of the 2003-2004 Class of Coastal Leadership Alabama. Additionally, Beth served on the Board of Directors for Voices for Alabama's Children, a statewide children's advocacy organization and on the Mobile Area Education Foundation. In 2013, Beth served as a steering committee member for Housing First and chaired the Community Collaborations and Services Team helping develop a ten year strategic plan to reduce homelessness in the Mobile/Baldwin County area. Most recently, she has worked with the Mobile Area Chamber of Commerce serving as co-chair of Mobile Connect.

 

In 2006, Beth was recognized for her work spearheading Hurricane Katrina relief efforts and again in 2012 for her civic leadership efforts in Mobile.  


Beth calls Mobile and Birmingham, Alabama home. Along with her husband, Henry, and their two children, they are members of Government Street Presbyterian Church.
