As an introduction, Ivco, Inc. was launched by Debra Cowen and Beth Ivey in 2000, after spinning off of the success of D.C. & Company. Debra began D.C. and Company in 1988 after working for other advertising specialty companies for years and realizing she wanted to start her own company with her own vision. Beth started working for an embroider/screen printer of apparel in 1989 and became the head purchaser for the company and eventually went into sales. In 1998 Beth began working with Debra and began learning more about this industry and in 2000 the two women combined their expertise and started Ivco, Inc. dba D.C. & Company.
