Margo Moss
Margo Moss is a highly experienced and educated environmental scientist with a history of field science and policy management with private consulting, non-profits, state and federal agencies, as well as, academia. She received her Masters of Science in Environmental Biology from Tulane University, and has seven years professional experience in the environmental science field. Ms. Moss has a proven ability to solve complex natural resource issues within a highly regulated field of practice, including specialized experience in policy development, air and water compliance inspections, air and water sampling, minor source permitting, Title V Air Program, wetland design, natural resource advising, and other specialized environmental fields. She has five years experience in emergency management and response through her work as a Natural Resource Advisor on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and as an Environmental Scientist for Louisiana State Department of Environmental Quality (LDEQ).
Lee Lemond received his Bachelors of Science in Biological Sciences from the University of New Orleans, and has six years professional experience in environmental sciences and the industrial hygiene field. Through his job as LDEQ’s Emergency Responder for Louisiana’s Southeast Region, Mr. Lemond has extensive experience working with local, state and federal agencies as well as oil spill response organizations, responsible parties and private companies during emergency incidents, planning drills, and hurricane preparation meetings. Mr. Lemond has gained valuable experience in emergency management and response from working on, as well as serving as the State On Scene Coordinator (SOSC) for various emergency incidents. These include the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill (2010-2011), Hurricane Isaac’s Stolthaven Chemical Spill (2012), LPG Pipeline Fire (2013), St. Rose Odor Complaints (2014), Marrero Odor Complaints (2014-2015), and the Diversified Ammonia Incident (2015).
