Gabrielle Begue
Gabrielle Begue leads the firm’s architectural history division, as well as its historical research, historic structure surveys, and report writing and production projects. Gabrielle is a New Orleans native who lived and worked in New York for eleven years before returning to her hometown in 2011 to complete the Tulane School of Architecture’s Master of Preservation Studies program. She also possesses a Bachelor of Arts degree in French Language and Literature from New York University. With a professional background in writing and academic publishing, she was previously assistant editor at NYU Press, where she focused on the American history, anthropology, and law lists. She also served for several years as proofreader and copy editor at Princeton Architectural Press. Gabrielle meets the Secretary of the Interior’s professional qualification standards in history and architectural history.
