Heidi Raines is the CEO and founder of Medical Executive Partners and Compliance Partners. Heidi’s work experience has spanned a number of healthcare sectors, including hospitals, private and public healthcare centers, and pharmaceuticals. Prior to establishing Medical Executive Partners, Heidi was the CEO at Michalopoulos Enterprises, during which time City Business awarded its Innovator of The Year Award to her for successfully reinventing the company. At the North American operations of AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals, she managed the entire life cycle of strategic projects; creating, developing and implementing centers for clinical trials in community health centers, accomplishing AstraZeneca’s Circle of Excellence award. She also managed two sections of the LSU Health Sciences Center, Hematology Oncology and Radiation Oncology, including inpatient and outpatient infusion centers.
In 2013, New Orleans City Business named Heidi Woman of the Year for her contributions to the healthcare and biomedical field. She currently holds a Preceptor Faculty position at Tulane University’s Master of Health Administration program. She also holds a Certificate of Entrepreneurship from Goldman Sachs’ Business Program. Heidi is an active member of the New Orleans Chapter of Women Healthcare Executive (WHEN) and Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA). Her community involvement includes service on various boards as board chair or advisory board member.
