Derek and Shellie both began their careers in the Commercial Construction industry. In 2002, Derek began to receive requests for assistance with smaller residential construction independent work.
These requests quickly grew and resulted in the opening of Eller Construction Company, LLC as a partnership in December of 2003. By the end of 2004, the overall residential volume grew to require full time support for the business from both Derek and Shellie.
For Project Execution, Eller develops:
• Project delivery plan
• Detailed project schedule
• Manpower projections and project specific financial tracking tools.
• Eller generates periodic reporting to the owner to report progress and issues across the project, including identification of risk items and recovery plans where needed.
• Eller also supports quality control functions required by project, tracking of scope change requests
Value Proposition
They continued to operate in this capacity through 2007, building over 30 custom homes in a 4-year period. Both Derek and Shellie are licensed general contractors.
The Eller’s backlog continues to grow across residential and commercial markets and our customers continue to express their satisfaction with services.

Eller has over 15 years’ experience in development and execution of large technology and low-voltage implementations, primarily in the Memphis area healthcare market.
Eller has supported over $120M of technology system implementations in this market since 2007. This portion of Eller’s portfolio continues to grow and remain a primary focus of the company.
